What is your shortest rental period?

The shortest rental period is one day.

Can I rent to own?

No, we do not offer rent to own.

What is the difference between a rental and a lease?

 A rental is a short term event; a day, a week, a month. If you find you need to make changes to the length of your rental we can easily accommodate this. A lease is a long term fixed length event, usually 18-24 months. As it is for a longer event, equipment is usually purchased for that specific lease, as opposed to rental items which have been used before.

Can I keep the equipment after the lease expires?

As all leases are different, call us and we can discuss what your options may be.

What do you do with the computer when I return it?

When returned to PC Rentals, the computer is imaged back to original rental condition so any changes you have made will be erased. 

Can I load other software on the computer after I rent or lease it?

Yes, you can load any required software on the computer. Please keep in mind this is entirely your responsibility.  When returned to PC Rentals, the computer is imaged back to its original rental condition so any changes you have made will be erased.

What files can I use to play a video via USB on a TV?

You can use the following files, AVI, WMV, MP4, MPG, and MPEG.  We prefer if we can test the files before your event to make sure they will work, as they use different CODECs and we cannot guarantee success.  You cannot play a Powerpoint presentation direct through the LCD via USB; you would need to play that via a laptop connected to the LCD.

Can you image computers for me?

Yes, we can image as many computers as you need, this way they will all be identical. We can also keep your image on file for you so that the next time you rent you can request your image be put back on a computer again. 

Do you setup the equipment or just drop off?

We can do as much or as little as you require. Some customers only require the equipment to be delivered to site, others require it to be fully installed and tested prior to the event. The installation details will be arranged when you book the equipment.

Do you collect the equipment or do I return it when I am finished with it?

We can do both. Some customers are happy to return the equipment themselves; others require it to be collected. The collection details will be arranged when you book the equipment.

Can you add different video cards, hard drives and RAM to the computers?

Yes, we can change or add additional video cards, hard drives and RAM in the computers.  The specific details will be arranged when you book the equipment.
